In Full Bloom — Pressed Flower Jar DIY Kit

 A handful of pressed flowers, a little sealer, and a jar that glows. Here’s how to make yours, step by step.

Step 1: Prepare the sealerTake a little sealer from the jar and transfer it to your palette. Add just a few drops of water and mix well to get a smooth, moisturiser-like consistency.

Important: Don’t make the sealer too thin by adding too much water. It needs to hold the flowers well.

Step 2: Apply the sealer-Using a flat brush, apply an even layer of the sealer mixture to the clean, dry glass jar wherever you want your flowers to go.

Step 3: Add your flowers-Using tweezers, gently place your favourite pressed flowers onto the wet sealer. Press them down carefully so they stick to the glass.

Step 4: Let it dry-Let the first coat dry completely until the sealer turns transparent.

Step 5: Apply the top coat-Once the first coat is completely dry, apply a second coat of sealer over the flowers to lock them in.

Step 6: Dry completely-Let the jar dry until the sealer is transparent and dry to the touch.

Step 7: Add the finishing touch-Tie the jute rope around the neck of the jar in a cute, rustic bow.

Step 8: Light it up!- Place an LED tea light inside your finished jar and enjoy your very own real flower lantern.
